Autumn servicing for you abb variable speed drives

The summer sun is fading as the year grows old, and darker days are drawing near.

Your drives are about to enter a long winter. Protect them from it with the equivalent of a comforting woolly scarf: a service visit from an engaging EDC engineer.

Unless your inverters are living in the equivalent of an ivory tower – a temperature-controlled control room, they, like your car engine, will be subject to the vicissitudes of transitioning from summer (warm rain if you’re in Scotland) to winter.

It’s estimated (from a poll of our engineers) that in excess of 80% of VSD failures are caused by either temperature or environmental issues. Vacuum your vents, furnish with new filters and change out your cooling fans now.

Love your drives at this time of year with a little time, care and preventative maintenance.
