Go with the flow - we're 'primed' to tell you about a new install after a breakdown!
When a site went down recently, our EDC engineers were on site within hours to install a temporary ABB ACQ580 drive to keep the system functional.
Our talented team was then able to assemble a new panel with 2 x ACQ580s which provides more efficient control for the area - reducing transients in the pipe network and providing better pressure consistency. This, in turn will help reduce potential bursts in the area. The new setup also provides inlet dry-run protection, as well as over pressurisation from the newly-fitted pressure transducers (coupled with pressure switches to act as backup in the event the signal from the pressure transducer is lost or malfunctions).
The complete install took 5 days, after which our customer's site was 'flushed' with success.
