EDC North East keeps on lifting you ‘hire’, ‘hire’ than you’ve ever been lifted before!
It’s been a busy time in our EDC north east workshop. Above are construction pics of the first of our new, enhanced VSD hire fleet. When complete, this enclosure will house a 250kW ABB inverter. The flange mounting arrangement of the design will allow it to operate in even the most demanding of operating environments, keeping the drive safely isolated from corrosive substances.
Another benefit of the flange design is that it also allows the drive to ‘keep its cool’ as the majority of the heat from the heat sink will be expelled into the ambient environment. Possibly making it the Steve McQueen of hire drives?
